Halle Ponton is a dynamic and passionate singer-songwriter hailing from Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan. She has been captivating audiences since her early teens. Halle began
her musical journey by releasing covers on social media at just 13 and quickly
evolved, releasing her first original track “Tired of Waking Up” with Carson Shmyr
at 15, which has garnered over 200,000 streams. Throughout high school, Halle
continued to refine her craft, writing her own music and sharing her voice with the
world.
Her dedication to her art led to an impressive milestone in the summer of 2023
when she embarked on a Western Canada tour. Her album “Is This What Real Life
Is?” was released on October 13, 2023, with the leading single “Let You Down”
earning airtime on Saskatoon’s popular C95 radio station.
Halle’s talent shone brightly at the Saskatchewan Music Awards in December 2023,
where she performed as a featured artist. She had the honour of opening for Juno
nominee Katie Tupper at the Capitol 10th Year Anniversary Festival and also
performed at Saskatchewan’s Jazz Festival. Halle is set to embark on another
Western Canadian tour, playing over 15 shows.
