WIESINGER is a husband/wife led alternative pop-rock band hailing from the tranquil surroundings of Barrhead, Alberta. Formed in 2021, they’re creating a musical buzz with their dynamic melodies and pertinent, zany lyrics. Their song “Doom Scroller” was a semi-finalist from the International Songwriting Competition for “Best Rock Song,” in 2024. WIESINGER is an emporium of eclectic, feel-good pop music for fun-loving people. Their one-of-a-kind sound draws inspiration from popular bands like The Barenaked Ladies, LANY, AJR, & Smashmouth. They introduce different layers of nostalgic pop, hints of alternative rock, and flavours of 90s hip hop.
